For most dental problems, including the distance between your teeth, Invisalign works very well. However, for those cases which require tooth extraction or a lot of movement needed, Invisalign may not be appropriate. During a consultation, your dentist will be able to tell whether you are fit to use Invisalign. Perhaps in the case of really severe, traditional braces may need to be used to improve your teeth.

How is the procedure?

After the initial consultation, and assess the alignment of your teeth, your dentist will take a mould of your teeth using a special "dental Putty" and take some pictures of teeth and a smile from a different angle.
Invisalign labs will be created in the mold of your teeth using a CT scanner and created 3D models. The Model will be used as the basis for generating simulated the movement of your teeth from the starting position up to the desired position.

The simulation is then used as the basis to design your aligners, which are in a custom specific to your teeth and you'll replace the aligners every two weeks because your teeth will move little by little.
